5. Account and Data Deletion (Your Rights)
You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. When you request deletion, all of your user profile records, stored vocabulary, saved words, and learning progress will be permanently scrubbed from our active databases.
We provide two secure ways to exercise this right:
Method A: In-App Deletion (Instant)
If you have the QuranWords app installed on your device, you can delete your account directly inside the interface:
- Navigate to the Profile or Settings screen.
- Tap on Delete Account under the account management section.
- Follow the security prompt to confirm your identity by entering your password or confirming your account email.
- Once confirmed, your account and data will be instantly and permanently deleted.
Method B: Direct Web Deletion Page
If you have already uninstalled the app, you can delete your data from your web browser without re-downloading it:
- Visit our web deletion page at: https://www.quranwords4all.com/delete
- Sign in using the same account you used for QuranWords, either by email/password or supported social login.
- Review the deletion warning and type DELETE to confirm.
- Once confirmed, our system will permanently delete your account and associated app data from our active databases.
Retention of Financial Records
Even after your account is deleted, we retain limited transaction and financial records, such as purchase amounts, dates, payment or invoice identifiers, and affiliate commission payouts, for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. Wherever possible these records are anonymized or stripped of personal identifiers so they can no longer be linked to you, and sensitive payout details, such as bank account numbers, are removed once they are no longer needed.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw your consent to data processing at any time
